Outside our program for quality wheat, for the first time we offer an extremely productive and healthy variety of feed wheat, with a high yield and also used for the production of bioethanol.
The TONNAGE variety attracted as a magnet hundreds of farmers in the experimental plots with its distinctive big spiкes of large grain. The plants are low, the spike is awnless. Maturaty is medium late.
A great advantage is the phytosanitary health of the variety - high tolerance to powdery mildew, yellow rust and septoria - especially in 2020, this was an exceptional and remarkable feature of the variety in the fields.
Since the variety is relatively late and its developmental phases diverge from those of the most common varieties in production, it is imperative to tailor nutrition and plant protection to its developmental rhythm in order to maximize the potential of TONNAGE.
